Last Thursday (January 6, 2011) my mom, Randi, Richelle, and I began our crazy Disney weekend by flying into the Santa Ana/ John Wayne/Orange County airport. We stopped at the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and then set our alarm clocks bright and early (and cold!) for the next morning, our first day at Disneyland.
After a quick stop at the ticket counter the next morning, where we upgraded our tickets, we finally walked through the gates into the happiest place on Earth.
We stopped for some pictures with Cruella Deville, Woody and Jessie, and took some with Randi's Flat Stanley. After that it was time for the rides!!!
We chased after the Evil Queen from Snow White and stopped to make some wishes at the Wishing Well.
We went on everything that we wanted. Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones and of course the best ride of all time, Thunder Mountain Railroad.
We ate lunch in New Orleans Square and had Mickey shaped beignets with powdered sugar for dessert. YUM.
We took more pictures and rode more rides until that evening when we played in the Penny Arcade and watched some cast members dip carmel apples before the fireworks and Fantasmic.
After that it was time to head back to our hotel and rest up for our next day at Disneyland!
