The Big State Disappointment...

Saturday was our last in-state competition. The Arizona State Band Competition. Our preformance was AMAZING, FANTASTIC, WONDERFUL!!... It was the best preformance we've ever done. We all thougth that a Superior was coming our way. Well obviously the ABODA judges didn't think so. We ended getting a Excellent with a score of 77.8. It was a big blow to the heart let me tell you. There was a lot of crying and a lot of hatred towards the judges. The only way we were able to justify it for ourselves was that the judges got paid off. Malik promised us that wasn't the case we just didn't impress them like the other bands did... I'm still not sure how the California competitions are gonna go.
