Marching Band Continued... (section bonding)

Every day each section had to particpate in a "bonding" activity. On Wednesday the piccolo section was assigned one called "podium". IT IS THE SCARIEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE!! (okay mabe not as scary as being attacked by a stingray, but it's up there!) Anyway... Malik had a cherry picker taken up to band camp to simbolize a football field's press box. He raised the cherry picker up off the field eight feet, he had the section make a bridge with our arms linked at the bottom of the cherry picker . Then one person would get on top af the cherry picker, walk to the edge turn facing the opposite way of the "arm bridge" and FALL keeping their body completely straight. The coolest thing about that activity as a whole is that our section is the only one without any boys AND we were the only section where every person fell and no one got dropped. Plus this activity showed me how much I trust my section, on the field and off.
